Empowering Education at the Victory Lap Pitch Competition

MIAMI, FL - August 30, 2023 — Michelle Singh, the driving force behind LCT-E Learning Solutions and a distinguished educator, has clinched victory at the highly competitive Victory Lap Pitch Competition. The event, hosted by the Miami Open for Business, spotlights small business excellence in Miami and underscores Singh's dedication to education innovation.  

This competition, presented by the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) and the Black Professionals Network (BPN), provided an esteemed platform for Miami's small business owners. Singh's win highlights LCT-E Learning Solutions' profound impact on local education. 

Singh's journey to this remarkable win is deeply rooted in her personal experiences and an unshakable commitment to redefining the future of education. Her unwavering passion stems from her own experiences as an immigrant student from Jamaica, where the simple act of standing up to speak led to ridicule and a loss of belonging. However, it was her teacher, Ms. Fernandez, who instilled values of empathy, excellence, and equity that she now champions. 

Driven by the pressing need for cultural competence and inclusive education, Singh founded LCT-E Learning Solutions. The organization is dedicated to providing transformative training for educators with a particular emphasis on bridging cultural gaps in education. 

At the heart of Singh's business model is her commitment to creating a platform for educators to enhance their skills and foster inclusive classrooms. She champions her Restful Teacher initiative and an upcoming membership subscription for teachers, coupled with an immersive 5-month program, designed to empower educators with the tools and strategies needed to create empathetic and equitable learning environments. 

LCT-E Learning Solutions, under Singh's leadership, achieved milestones, gaining Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certifications. Singh secured victories in competitions like the We360 Pitch Competition by the South Florida YWCA, the National YWCA's Level Up! Women's Empowerment Summit sponsored by Procter and Gamble, the Citi Bank Pitch Competition by the Urban League of Broward County. The organization boasts partnerships with Microsoft and other corporations. Notably, the organization empowered over 40,000 teachers globally and played a pivotal role in assisting some of the largest public school districts, including Miami-Dade County, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
