🌿Cultivate! Conversations to Ground, Grow, and Glow
Cultivate! Conversations to Ground, Grow, and Glow is a space for new educators who are navigating those first few years with heart, honesty, and a desire to lead with integrity. We gather to pause, reflect, and have the kind of conversations that don’t usually happen in traditional PD, classes, or training. It's about Real talk. Brave questions. These sessions help you reflect, reclaim your rhythm, and rise with courage and care. Below are the themes that will guide our conversations.

This restorative, real-time session is designed to help you reclaim your rhythm, quiet the self-doubt, and grow with clarity and confidence.
Feel more rooted in who you are, more secure in how you lead, and more connected to your why.Â
No more piecing it all together on your own.
Build a sustainable teaching practice grounded in purpose—not perfection.
🌿 From My Desk to Yours
I'm Michelle Singh, and for over 20 years, I've helped new and aspiring teachers build meaningful, sustainable teaching practices rooted in equity, reflection, and rest. As a professor of teacher education, a career educator, and a woman of color, I’ve seen firsthand what new educators are up against—and what they really need.
I created Cultivate! Conversations to Ground, Grow, and Glow because something was missing:
A space where new teachers can pause, ask the hard questions, and build their confidence without burning out.Â
That’s what Cultivate! is all about.
Not a class. Not PD. Not a training. Not a checklist.
It’s not about adding more to your plate—it’s about giving you a pause, a space to breathe, reset, and grow forward with clarity and confidence.
And if you miss a session, no worries!
You can catch the replay, reflect in your workbook, and join us for the next conversation whenever you're ready.
You’re doing the work—but it’s a lot.
You’re getting hit with nonstop information, constant feedback, and a thousand decisions a day. You're trying to get it “right”—but also trying to find your voice. And you need help!
You need a space to ask questions, even if you don't know what to ask.
🌴 In each session, you’ll:
-
Reflect on your teaching identity and what it means to lead with integrity
-
Unpack the pressures and pace of your first few years with compassion
-
Gain real tools to manage feedback, overwhelm, and self-doubt
-
Ask honest questions you can’t always ask in traditional PD
-
Connect with a supportive community of new educators who get it
🌻 What You’ll Leave With:
-
Clarity on what matters most in your practice
-
Tools to set boundaries and protect your peace
-
A mindset rooted in growth—not perfection
-
Language for inclusive, responsive, reflective teaching
-
Connection with other educators who are building boldly, just like you
Who Should Attend?Â
Cultivate! is for you if:
You’re in your first 1–3 years of teaching
You may be career changer still finding your rhythm
You care deeply about your students and your own well-being
You’re tired of surface-level PD and ready for something real
You want to lead with clarity, courage, and community
Here, we ask what really needs to be asked.
What We Talk About
In most PD spaces, you’re handed strategies and sent on your way. At 🌿Cultivate!, we pause to explore the deeper questions—about identity, equity, exhaustion, and the quiet ways this work shapes us.
Here are the themes that will guide our conversations in each session:
- 🌿Apr 28, 2025 08:00 PM: Reclaiming Rhythm & Trusting Your Voice
- 🌿May 26, 2025 08:00 PM: Closing Chapters & Choosing How You Finish
- 🌿Jun 30, 2025 08:00 PM: Returning to Self: Reclaiming Joy, Rebuilding VisionÂ
Here’s the kind of reflection questions we invite inside this space…
- What’s one small shift or routine that’s helped you protect your peace during testing or high-stress seasons?
- What helps you lead your classroom in a way that still feels like you when everything around you feels urgent?
- How do you know when it’s time to let go of something—and how do you give yourself permission to do it?
- What does it look like to finish the year in a way that honors your energy—not just your expectations?
- What does rest or restoration look like for you—right now, in the middle of the mess?
- How do you make peace with what didn’t get done, or didn’t go as planned?
- How are you reclaiming your joy this summer—even in small ways?
- How are you using rest to remember who you are—beyond the role, the routine, or the expectations?
- What does resilience mean to you—and how do you see it in your journey and in the impact you want to make?
- How do you want to return to teaching and leading differently?
